The rule
M- (or MW-) = SINGULAR (one person)
WA- = PLURAL (many people)
Animals KEEP the same prefix: Mnyama / Wanyama = an animal / animals

Pointers, possessives, subjects

Possessives: wangu (my) · wako (your) · wake (his/her)
Subject prefix: A- (he/she) / WA- (they)   ·   Has/Have: Ana / Wana   ·   Doesn't have: Hana / Hawana

SECTION 1 - Make it Plural (or Singular)

Change each Swahili word to its OPPOSITE form. Careful - animals stay the same!

SECTION 2 - This / These / That / Those

Type HUYU, HAWA, YULE or WALE. (Tip: HUYU/HAWA = close · YULE/WALE = far)

SECTION 3 - My, Your, His/Her (wangu / wako / wake)

Type the M-WA possessive form to complete each phrase.

SECTION 4 - He/She (A-) or They (WA-)?

Type the correct subject prefix (A or WA) into each verb.

SECTION 5 - Translate Mini-Sentences

Build full Swahili sentences using M-WA vocabulary.

SECTION 6 - Odd One Out!

For each row, type the word that DOESN'T belong with the others.

SECTION 7 - Describe Your Family (Andika!)

Write 5-6 Swahili sentences about your family or friends. Use M-WA nouns (mtoto, mama, baba, rafiki, mwalimu) with demonstratives and possessives.
